Naked women in Tempe

Antwon Wilford, of Mesa, was arrested and booked on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, burglary and three outstanding warrants, police said in a press release. When officers arrived, they were approached by a woman with a gunshot wound leaving her apartment.

She told officers a gun struck her in the head after she dropped it, police said, and was taken to a local hospital, where she remained as of Sunday morning. Three children also exited the apartment and were taken out of the area.

Wilford had a history of shooting at the same woman, police said, as she was driving away in her car at the same residence last year. Authorities shut down Brown Road east and westbound from Horne to Miller Street during the investigation, according to its Twitter.
